Hitman Sniper, developed by Square Enix Montreal, is a
captivating mobile game that offers players a thrilling and
immersive sniper experience within the iconic Hitman universe.
The game places players in the shoes of Agent 47, the legendary
assassin known for his meticulous planning, precision, and
stealth. Unlike the traditional action-packed Hitman titles,
Hitman Sniper takes a more focused approach, allowing players to
explore the art of assassination from a sniper's perspective.
With its stunning visuals, engaging gameplay mechanics, and
strategic depth, the game invites players to step into the world
of contract killing and engage in carefully crafted missions
that demand both skill and strategy.
A Roller Coaster of
Emotions
Hitman Sniper provides players with a unique blend
of emotions as they navigate its tense scenarios. From the
initial moments of anticipation as players scout out their
targets and the environment, to the adrenaline-pumping rush as
they execute a perfect shot that goes unnoticed by bystanders,
the game delivers a roller coaster of feelings. The tension of
orchestrating kills with surgical precision, while avoiding
detection, generates a mix of excitement and anxiety. On one
hand, players might experience a sense of triumph and mastery as
they complete missions flawlessly, but on the other hand, a
failed shot or discovery can trigger feelings of frustration and
the drive to improve.
Gameplay Mechanics
The core
gameplay of Hitman Sniper revolves around completing various
assassination contracts across a series of intricate and
detailed environments. Players are presented with diverse
targets, each with distinct routines, vulnerabilities, and
potential interactions. As a sniper, players must carefully
observe their surroundings, identifying opportunities to
eliminate targets discreetly while avoiding collateral damage or
raising alarms.
The game's mechanics encourage strategic
thinking and patience. Players can use a variety of tools at
their disposal, such as environmental objects, distractions, and
traps, to manipulate the environment and set up elaborate chain
reactions. The importance of timing, trajectory calculation, and
understanding target behavior adds layers of depth to the
gameplay. This strategic element allows players to approach each
mission in multiple ways, fostering a strong sense of agency in
their approach to assassination.
As players progress, they
can unlock and upgrade different sniper rifles, each with unique
attributes that cater to different playstyles. These upgrades
include scopes, ammunition types, and additional perks that
influence the outcome of missions. The evolving arsenal adds an
element of personalization and strategy, as players adapt their
loadout to match the requirements of specific contracts.

The world-famous Bald Killer 47 now comes to mobile, and although it's a stand-up shooter there's quite a lot of gameplay. The graphics don't look top notch but they are comfortable and the sound effects are perfect.

The feel of the shooting is easy to pick up for newbies, and the skill set will be more favorable for missions. I would give it a 9.1 out of 10, which has 1 emotional score.

It would be interesting to see more perspectives like the sniper challenge in Hitman Absolution - new costumes, gloves, decorations... Anyway, looking forward to every future update!
